I’m happy Bo lost

But the mindset is important imo. Bo is only a grappler, his striking is terrible. So if he’s afraid to grapple what’s he even doing? He’s not Dan Henderson lol

It didn’t look like he wanted to take the guy down from the clinch , possibly concerned with being submitted. I get that but he also didn’t really do anything with his clinch , no moving opponent around , no snapping , no knees , no pummeling to set up elbows….nothing.

de Ridder wants Strickland fight

“I was just going to say, I’ve been spending so much time in the U.S., I wanted to see if I was still Dutch,” de Ridder joked about his striking to set up the knockout.

“I wanted to say this is the best American wrestling you have, right? Now give you the best American striker. [Sean] Strickland, you’re up, buddy! Let’s go.”

Buckle up, fight fans – because the RDR story in the UFC is only just beginning.

Is Bo left handed or does he try to box left handed because he wrestled right leg lead? He just looks really awkward throwing punches.

Guy has stones

Sean will likely jab RDR into the living death.

Fun fight though. I’d definitely watch that.

I don’t think Bo will be back better than ever. He’s already half checked out of the fight game. The guy has a podcast already.

If Sean treats this fight like a sparring session…

Damn
I wanted Bo to come out and freak everybody with suplexes, wizzer trips, nasty blast doubles, maybe some highlight bicep throw or something…
I was super disappointed in the neutrality of wrestling

His money comes from him being a fighter. Without fighting he gets no merch, no podcastm. No social media shit. He should go all in and milk this thing while he can

I was hoping for some new school Karo Parisyan type shit… he used to throw EVERYBODY

Not sure

I’m not but I have been know to listen to Richard.

He’s got a bomb ass hot Latinx wife too.

Good analysis from Luke- he’s let his wrestling slip, has no jab to speak of. Small for a MW. He said if he doesn’t take this as a wake up call he’s peaked. He did mention maybe De Ridder was too much too soon.

He should already have a jab after 3 years of training. It’s literally the first strike you learn and drill in any type of striking system. His wrestling looked mediocre against Brundage and he was scared to grapple Paul Craig. Clearly he’s not going to be a dominant grappler at 185. He looks soft at 185 so maybe 170 is his best shot at being a top guy. Maybe he could bully the guys at 170 but I’d have to see it to believe it. I think a Sean Brady would probably submit him. I know he hasn’t had a ton of time fighting but imo he hasn’t improved much in the last two years, or at least not like I thought someone with his pedigree would progress. I really thought he’d look closer to khamzat by this point.
