I’m sure you remember that Overeem himself attributed his muscle gain to eating horsemeat, although it was obviously large amounts of PED use. He was lean and lanky in his PRIDE Fc days. He was definitely much less muscular then compared to his brother.

He was gunshy vs Lewis, worst fight ever.
He also beat Stipe easily in the rematch and he killed post Uber Reem. So I dont think its fair to say Ubereem would have crushed him.
I don’t hold the horsemeat thing against Reem.
Ken Shamrock once made a good point about race cars needing different fuel than normal cars.
I want to see these guys become the most monstrous comic-book versions of themselves possible, on a playing field where their opponents are doing the same.
I just wish he could have been that version of himself in the UFC.

I’m fine with it if everyone roids, it’s the cheating because it’s illegal and most do not abuse it like others that makes it a huge problem. Is horsereem still as deadly if everyone is juiced the same? Well his no juice fights leads me to believe he would not be the demolition man.
He never faced anyone that could take him down from the clinch etc
It’s fair to say because Ubereem would have crushed his lesser self in 8 seconds and Ngannou might have landed a punch on a retarded fighting Stipe, but he was dominated pillar to post in the first fight.
Ngannou didn’t look worth a flying fuck vs Gane either. He also just gassed in 2 minutes vs a BJJ guy who could make 170. So yeah.
That would be even harder. He got A LOT of people down from the clinch himself.
Ubereem would likely have beaten him even in kickboxing, an MMA fight would have been an absolute ragdolling.
